Lord. please. make it stop. make it all stop. i know you won’t really let it all stop.. but please? can’t you PLEASEE!!!?
just like these lines of light.. we never really know who we touch/hurt/affect when we first start out. we just live our lives. no big deal.
but then.. THEN! other people come along. along things come along. we are ALL affected by each other… whether we intentionally do something or not, we always ALWAYS affect another person.
so when will we all stop and realize this? i mean, really realize this?
when will we give up this ‘fight’ and realize we are all on the same team here?
this life is hard already.. so why add to it? why hurt other people by our pettiness?
change happens. life moves on. GOD’S WILL OCCURS WHETHER WE ARE READY OR NOT.
i’m ready. i’ve been ready. when will you?
i remember a night not too long ago… i read this verse Romans 15: 5-7 to a few people.. it is as follows:
5May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you a spirit of unity among yourselves as you follow Christ Jesus, 6so that with one heart and mouth you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
7Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.
these verses are something ALL should live by. seriously? what happened? why did the WHOLE WORLD (me included sometimes) stop living by this?? HELLO! God is STILL HERE! He STILL gives us UNITY among ourselves…
so why? why the division.
this picture shows how we are all connected. sure, some start out at different points, interact with different things (walls! hah).. but all in all, we ALL touch somewhere alone the lines…
We are LIGHTS! we are GOD’s LIGHT! yes, we have this life. yes, we are in college trying to figure out what we should BE. but, i am pretty sure that God just asks us to follow Him and show others His loves. His AMAZING, no stipulations love.
so seriously. what’s up guys? be a light. understand the IMPACT you have on SOMEONE ELSE’S walk with the Lord.
sure there have been times, even this last semester, that i may not have thought about my actions before doing so… BUT i do know that i asked the Lord to forgive me, and i asked those individual(s) to forgive me for whatever thing i held against me. don’t get me wrong people, i am NOT perfect.
but i want to know why? why?!
so. i’m done. i am done trying to please people. i will only live for my Lord here on out. i was doing this and somewhere along the way i thought i needed to try and be friends with people, people who obviously didn’t really want me in their life. i thought i needed to please my family. i thought i needed to even please myself, my desires.
but that’s all crap.
when someone’s actions start affecting your SOUL, your WALK WITH GOD.. i think the truth is.. is it your fault really? did you do it? are you the one who needs to change?? and then when you go to God with it and really REALLY find that you ARE seeking Him… then i think the situation is this: they are the ones who are needing the change.
we need to check our hearts. we need to realize that out light shines bright. we impact eachother.. why not BRING OUR LIGHT TOGETHER FOR THE GLORY OF GOD!!!

yep. you are right. but if we don’t want to be petty anymore, then can we ALL please PLEASE tell each other how we feel. for real this time. no more “i don’t wanna hurt your feelings”. i think tumblr is tired of hearing about our stuff. i’m tired of reading my stuff and everyone’s stuff about this on tumblr. i wanna hear what is on everyone’s hearts. i’m tired of hurting. i’m tired of hearing about how much this is hurting my friends. I know God’s will will always be wrapped around our lives. we need to give it to him..not tumblr. so i’m ready to talk. are all of you? i love you all too much for this to happen…..
i COMPLETELY agree with both of you!! AAAAMEN!! i love you girls so much and i think it is important that we move past all this crap and just live together as sisters in Christ, encouraging and uplifting one another NO. MATTER. WHAT.!!!!!! God has brought us all together for a reason, for His glory and will—so lets work together for the glory of God be the LIGHT that HE expects and created us to be! we can be a unstoppable force for God if we are are willing and ready?! :)
